Small Faith Groups
University Ministry provides an array of opportunities for members of the University community to grow in their relationship with God. These opportunities are primarily rooted in a belief in Jesus Christ and the Catholic Christian heritage. Yet, they also reflect an eagerness to foster a diversity of faith expressions. Additionally, faith formation at Dominican is strongly shaped by the university’s heritage, which means that relationship, the search for truth, and the formation of the whole person is truly at the heart of the faith formation programming.
Caritas Veritas Communities - Small Groups
If you are looking for a group where you can ask deep questions, share experiences, find a listening ear in an open-minded environment, be accepted, and explore issues of life, faith, and spirituality, then these groups are for you. Groups are arranged by gender and class year (e.g. sophomore men, freshmen women, etc.) and are facilitated by two Dominican faculty, staff, sisters, or friars. Participants are asked to commit to the group for one year, and to attend monthly gatherings at a date and time decided upon by group members.
Some of the monthly topics may include:
- Exploring My Life Path
- Friendships & Faith
- Making Sense of Change
- Spirituality and Sexuality
- Finding Life Balance: Action and Contemplation

Groups begin as registration forms are received so don't delay! Contact Ann Hillman in University Ministry with any questions or for more information about groups that are forming.
