With an interest in how memories are stored in the brain, Dr. Calin-Jageman oversees the Neuroscience department at Dominican University. In his lab, he uses Aplysia califonica, (sea slugs), to trace the behavioral, neura and transcriptional changes that occur when the animal forms a new long-term memory. His articles have been published in the Journal of Neuroscience, Behavioral Neuroscience and the New Encyclopedia of Neuroscience.
