All middle school (6th-8th), high school, and college residents and students in River Forest and Oak Park are eligible to enter one poem. Poems can be in any form but must be no longer than 40 lines.
No entry fee is required. Complete rules and submittal forms are available at local schools and libraries and here.
There will be cash prizes for the top three finishers in the junior high, high school and college levels. Winners will also read their poems at the Poetry NOW! Festival of Poetry April 26, 2008.
