Back by popular demand, The Greencards return to DUPAC in an exciting double-bill with Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek. The Greencards–the trio was named "Best Emerging Artist" in 2006 at the American Music Awards, and last year garnered a Grammy nomination for Best Country Instrumental Performance for their song, "The Mucky Duck." They also were chosen to tour with Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson in recent years. Grounded in deep musical tradition and elevated by breathtaking technique and conceptual adventurousness, the multinational threesome joins dazzling fiddle player and singer/songwriter Sara Watkins on her first solo tour since the hiatus of the eclectic acoustic sensation Nickel Creek.
