Economics, the study of how individuals, businesses, governments and nations allocate scarce resources, is a powerful tool for understanding how decisions are made. The undergraduate program in economics prepares students to understand the foundations and problem-solving strategies employed in business, social sciences and related fields. Also, qualified students may enter our Accelerated MBA program, which provides a pathway to complete the MBA in as little as one additional year of study.

Dominican University offers two undergraduate programs in economics: a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree through the Brennan School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree for students interested in interdisciplinary study or a double major.

The Brennan School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). AACSB International accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools, worldwide.

In addition to economics, Dominican offers a variety of undergraduate business majors.
