Graduates of the Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution program will be qualified to serve as professional mediators. Professional mediation is both fulfilling and lucrative. The Bureau of Labor Statistics is projecting a 22% increase in demand for mediators nationwide from 2008–2018.

Building a successful mediation practice doesn't happen overnight, which is why the program includes a practicum to allow students to develop real-world experience, as well as voluntary mediator-led mediation practice sessions.

In addition, program graduates will develop valuable conflict resolution skills necessary for professionals in a wide range of fields including education, human resources, counseling, clergy, social services, law and management.
