Life 101

Senior year students and their parents are invited to join us for a half-day program to
learn how to make the smoothest transition from your time at Dominican to your post-collegiate
life.
Start the day at our Senior Success Fair to learn about:
- Continuing in one of Dominican’s five graduate programs
- Ordering graduation regalia, announcements and class rings
- The Candle and Rose ceremony
- The graduation ceremony
- Alumnae/i programs and services
Then attend workshops on:
- Managing your finances
- Finding your first apartment
- Business dinner etiquette
- Job search strategies
In addition, a
Young Adult Alumnae/i Panel will share their post-graduation experience. A full
schedule of the day is listed to the left.
While the information is targeted toward students, parents are encouraged to learn about the
resources available and to continue to offer support during this important transition. A special
parent workshop on helping your student transition to life after college will also be presented.

cost to the event which includes both your registration and lunch. You may drop off payment at
Career Development, located in the Academic Enrichment Center, Parmer Hall 010.
