Only current Dominican University students, faculty, staff and administration have interlibrary loan privileges. See the Interlibrary Loan page for more information on this service.
Loan Periods
Books, Curriculum Materials, and Government Documents can be checked out for eight weeks to all students, staff and alumni. Faculty can check out books for 16 weeks. Reference Material, Audiovisual equipment, and Periodicals are non-circulating.
Search Requests and Recalls
If a book you need is not on the shelf, please print the record from I-Share and give it to a staff member at the circulation desk and include your name and telephone number. The circulation staff will determine if the book is checked out, on reserve, missing, etc., and contact you with the status of the search within three working days. If we cannot locate Dominican University's copy, we will automatically request the book for you through interlibrary loan.
