Jeannine Potter teaches Ballet Technique and Modern Dance Technique. For the past several years, she has been partnering with Amy Omi and University Ministry to create dances for Lessons and Carols as well as other campus events. Jeannine holds a BS in Ballet from Indiana University and an MFA in Dance Performance from The Ohio State University. She has taught in dance academies and in higher education for the past 22 years in Ohio, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Indiana. As a performer and choreographer, she has worked with several contemporary ballet companies and continues to perform as an artist with VADCO in Chicago. Her work as a performer, choreographer and scholar has been included in conferences with the World Dance Alliance-Americas, Corps de Ballet International, American College Dance Festival Association and the 2012 Colloquium of Dominican Colleges and Universities. In addition to teaching at Dominican, Jeannine is on the faculty at the College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL and is the Office Manager at Stay-Straight Manufacturing, a custom millwork fabrication firm in Chicago.
