Audit Classes
Depending upon the availability of space and at the discretion of the dean of the academic
area of interest, undergraduate alumnae/i may audit most undergraduate courses free of charge
except for class fees and books. Auditors may only register on the first day of class or during the
add/drop period. No auditor may hold a place in the class if needed for a credit student. Auditing
is not permitted in studio courses in art, music or theatre; physical education courses;
independent/directed study; service learning; or other courses designated by the university.
Alumnae/i holding a Dominican University master’s degree can contact the degree-granting
school regarding course audit policy. Fees and restrictions may apply. For more information, please
contact the school of interest.
