Financial Aid
Over 90 percent of our freshmen receive some form of financial aid, and over 75 percent receive need-based aid. We participate in federal and state grant, loan and employment programs. We also maintain our own substantial grant and employment programs for students with financial need. Students are considered for all programs for which they are eligible. Aid is provided in the form of Grants, Loans, Scholarships and Campus Employment.
Aid eligibility is determined by an evaluation of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Dominican University's code is 001750. Click here for more information.
To be eligible for federal or state aid, students must be United States citizens or permanent residents enrolled for at least six semester hours per term. To remain eligible for financial aid, students must maintain satisfactory academic progress and continue to demonstrate need on financial aid applications submitted annually.
