Leadership Opportunities

Develop your leadership skills! Become involved as a

• Participant in Emerging Leaders program, a semester-long leadership program with a retreat, workshops and speakers. Stay on for the Making Change Project the second semester and have the chance to work with a group of your peers in making changes at DU and in the community.
• TORCH Orientation Leader as part of the summer orientation process for new first-year and transfer students or as a leader for the Fall Welcome Weekend. This is your chance to welcome new students and highlight the opportunities available at DU.
• Student Ambassador, meeting with prospective students about what life is like at Dominican.
• Peer Educator, helping educate the campus about a variety of topics related to health and wellness.

• Take an officer role in a student organization.
• Join the Student Government Association as a member, class senator or Executive Board member. You can even be elected to the Dominican University Board of Trustees.
• Attend a leadership speaker workshop.
