Alumni & Friends
More than 10,000 students have graduated from the Graduate School of Library and Information
science since its founding in 1930. The Dominican University GSLIS network is the largest in the
Chicagoland area and extends throughout the state and region. Our alumni maintain strong
connections with students, faculty and each other. This creates a flourishing community that
supports the continued growth and development of our institution. The GSLIS Alumni Council serves
an active role in ongoing alumni support and the preparation of students for professional
positions.
