In this powerful lecture, Fr. Gregory Boyle, SJ, founder and director of Los Angeles' of Homeboy Industries, will share how compassion, kindness, universal kinship and unconditional love are tools to fight despair and decrease marginalization.

Boyle draws from more than 30 years of work with formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated men and women in Los Angeles.

Now in its 26th year, Homeboy Industries is the largest gang intervention, rehabilitation and re-entry program in the United States. Through his stories and parables, attendees will be reminded that no life is less valuable than another.
