Meet the Director
Rebecca Davis
Mathias, PhD, has solid experience in both business and academia. She presently serves as the
Consulting Ethicist for the Alexian Brothers Health System – where she recently launched their “
Ethics Help Line” – and has served in a similar capacity in several other healthcare organizations.
Rebecca has also taught classes including business ethics and bioethics on a full - time basis at
St. Joseph’s College (University of Alberta, Canada) – and, more recently, on an adjunct basis for
Dominican University’s Rosary College of Arts and Sciences.
Rebecca holds a doctorate in Christian ethics (with a concentration in business and medical ethics) and an MA in theology from Loyola University of Chicago. Her undergraduate degree in theatre and speech is from Hanover College.
