Celebrate Dominican’s Newest Star!

A new Dominican star will be unveiled during Founders Week this November. This annual week honoring Father Samuel Mazzuchelli features numerous activities that you won’t want to miss, including the dedication of a new sculpture commemorating Father Samuel’s work and the traditional Italian dinner celebrating his birthday.

Join us for a special Italian dinner in honor of Fr. Samuel Mazzuchelli during our annual Founder’s Week celebration.

Dinner will be served at 5:45 p.m. (immediately following the sculpture dedication)

“Samuel Mazzuchelli: Model of Dominican Service”

Thomas McGonigle, OP, director of the Center for Catholic and Dominican Studies at Providence College, will talk about Fr. Samuel Mazzuchelli’s Dominican ministry as a creative response to the needs of those whom he encountered throughout his life.
