ORSP Mission

ORSP exists to help encourage a culture of research and academic innovation at Dominican University. Faculty and staff wishing to secure extramural funding for their ideas will receive assistance in navigating the many steps involved in preparing and submitting an application.

This website is designed to provide you with step-by-step guidance to the various stages of proposal development and submission. It will help you to find out more about where to look for funding, how to fulfill the university's internal approval requirements, and how to craft a quality proposal. The ORSP Director, who works collaboratively with the Business Office, the Office of Academic Affairs, and University Advancement, will partner with you as you move through the various and sometimes complex steps toward your goal of obtaining a grant award.

When your proposal is funded, ORSP will likewise ensure that you receive the necessary guidance you require in managing your award responsibly. Good luck!
