gave a presentation on “Magical Thinking: Reading Chaucer with Christian Eyes” at the Revisiting Chaucer and Christianity Conference at Canterbury Cathedral International Study Centre in July. Sweeney also presented on a panel with English instructor Donald Shaffer and assistant professor of English Ellen McManus on “Writing at a Small University” at the Midwest Modern Language Association Conference in November.
