Senior Fellow William V. Jackson continued his international activities, visiting three Central American countries (Guatemala, Costa Rica and Nicaragua) in recent months, where he presented several lectures, visited a number of libraries and advised on library developments. The trips to Costa Rica and Nicaragua were sponsored by the Department of State''s Public Diplomacy Unit.
