participated in a radio show called “Catholic Community of Faith: Catholics in Dialogue” on AM 820. The focus of the program was the upcoming Parliament of the World’s Religions in Barcelona, Spain in July 2004. Carlson addressed the academic component of the parliament. He also published “ Multiple Belonging: Possibilities, Challenges and the Ongoing Dominance of Christianity in Contemporary Buddhist-Christian Dialogue” in Buddhist-Christian Studies, and he presented “Site Visits in the Study of Religion: Practice, Problems, Prospects” at the American Academy of Religion Conference in Atlanta, GA in November.
