DU's Plamen Pamukov Honored with Weekly Awards

Dominican University midfielder, Plamen Pamukov (Addison, IL) was selected as the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Men’s Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week and named to the D3Kicks.com Team of the Week.

Pamukov, a 6’1” junior, scored each of Dominican’s five goals last week, including scoring his first-career hat trick in a 3-1 win over Wisconsin Lutheran College in NAC play last Wednesday. Pamukov followed up that performance by scoring two goals against St. Norbert College in the Stars’ 2-0 win over the Green Knights in a rematch of the 2006 NCAA Division III National Tournament Second Round match up.

Pamukov, a 2006 D3Kicks.com Second Team All-American selection, has now scored seven goals on the season and has four assists for a total of 18 points
