Dominican University's Matt Kochanowski landed on the D3Kicks.com Team of the Week for games ending on Sunday, September 16. The team, featuring the top 11 performers on the week from across the nation, was released today and featured the Stars’ 5'10" junior forward who logged six goals and three assists in three games on the week.

Last Wednesday, in the Stars’ 2-1 win over Wheaton College, Kochanowski notched both of Dominican's goals including the game-winner in the 57th minute to lift the Stars past the Thunder, the 2006 NCAA Division III National Tournament Runner-Up. Kochanowski followed up that performance with a hat trick in the Stars' 5-0 win over Maranatha Baptist Bible College on Friday to open Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) play and then was one of eight different players to score in the Stars' 8-0 victory over Marian College on Saturday.

To date on the season, Kochanowski has logged a team-high 10 goals and six assists. Kochanowski has made at least one goal in each of the Stars' last six games and has tallied at least one point in each of the Stars’ last seven games, all wins for Dominican University.
