Men’s soccer to play Edgewood in semifinal
After enjoying a first-round bye as the top seed in the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Tournament this weekend, the Dominican University men’s soccer team is now set to host Edgewood College, the tournament’s fourth seed, in a semifinal game on Wednesday, November 1, at 1:30 p.m. at Dominican University’s West Campus Field.In their regular season match-up, the Stars handed Edgewood a 3-1 loss thanks to a pair of goals in the final ten minutes of regulation. The Stars out-shot the Eagles 14-7 and held a 9-2 advantage in corner kicks.
The winner of the Dominican/Edgewood match will advance to the NAC championship and face the winner of the Aurora University/ Concordia University (WI) match. The championship game will be held on Saturday, November 4, at the highest remaining seed’s home field.
