Dominican University’s Mike Haiduc (Chicago, IL) and Ivano Clay (Chicago, IL) received all-conference basketball honors from the Lake Michigan Conference (LMC) last week. Haiduc, the third leading scorer in the conference at 17.0 points per game, was named to the all-conference first team while Clay received honorable mention from the conference coaches.

In LMC action, Clay led the Stars in scoring three times and led the team in assists six times. On January 21, he put forth a 16-point, 8-asssist and 4-steal effort to lift the Stars to a 71-68 win over Marian College.
“These two guys are extremely tough competitors,” said Head Coach Mark White. “They have helped bring our program to another level in just the two short years they have been here.”
“As a student I wanted an intimate community. As an aspiring journalist I wanted a big city. Dominican gave me both—and so much more.”
