Women’s Basketball Loses Eight

The Dominican University women’s basketball team is currently riding an eight-game losing streak after dropping back-to-back Lake Michigan Conference (LMC) games last week to Concordia University (WI) 72-43 and Lakeland College 42-31.

Nicole Zuhlke (Streamwood, IL) led the Stars’ offense with 14 points, after scoring 11 points in the first half. Zuhlke connected on 4-of-12 three-point field goal attempts in the game and was 5-of-15 from the field.

In the game against Lakeland, Wioleta Koziol (Mt. Prospect, IL) scored 12 of the Stars’ 31 points, and played all 40 minutes in the losing effort.

The Stars will look to break their losing streak against Milwaukee School of Engineering on Monday at home and then will travel to Edgewood College on Thursday for a 7:00 p.m. game at the Edgedome.
