Stars struggle at University of Chicago
The Dominican University Stars continued their struggles on the court with 36 turnovers in a 91-39 loss at University of Chicago on Saturday.
The Stars fell behind 43-11 after the first half behind 25 turnovers in the game’s first 20 minutes leading to 27 points for the Maroons. In the second half the Stars turned the ball over just 11 times leading to just 12 points.
Katie Strickland was the leading scorer for the Stars with eight points while five Maroons scored in double-figures.
The Stars return to the court on Saturday, December 18, for their home opener of the 2004-2005 season as they host Milwaukee School of Engineering for a 1:00 p.m. game in the university’s Igini Sports Forum.
