Dominican Appoints Director of Business School
Dr. Eisel also served as the associate dean of admissions and career services at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and director of career services at Arizona State University. She has a doctoral degree in guidance and counseling from The Ohio State University.
At Dominican, Dr. Eisel will be responsible for providing career development assistance to business students pursuing graduate degrees in management, accounting and information systems. In addition, she will be responsible for developing relationships between the School of Business and corporations in the Chicago metropolitan area in an effort to enhance career opportunities for students and alumni.
The Graduate Career Center has been funded through a $250,000 donation by Joe Madden, a trustee of Dominican University, and his wife, Char. Joe Madden is president of Madden Funds Management, Ltd. in Oak Park. Their initial gift has been matched by donations from Dominican alumni and corporate supporters.
Dominican University’s Graduate School of Business and Information Services offers graduate degrees in accounting, business administration, organizational management, management information systems, computer information systems, and knowledge management. In addition, through a partnership with the John Marshall Law School of Chicago, Dominican offers a joint MBA and Juris Doctor degree.
