Institute for Adult Learning Presents Info Session

Dominican University’s Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) will present an information session at its Northbrook campus on Wednesday, July 28 at 7:00 p.m. The session will be held on the fifth floor of Techny Towers, 2001 Waukegan Road in Northbrook.

During the information session, interested adult learners will have a chance to discuss the IAL’s degree programs, admission requirements and financial aid opportunities.

Dominican University’s Institute for Adult Learning offers a unique, flexible means of degree completion for adult students who have been out of high school for at least seven years, have some college credit, and want to complete their degree in an accelerated format.

Designed for the fastest growing segment in higher education today, the IAL offers programs compatible with adults’ personal and professional needs and provides the services adult learners demand to achieve their specific goals. By earning a degree through the IAL, adult students can take an important step toward developing future employment opportunities.

For more information about this information session, call Dominican University at (708) 524-6800.

Founded in 1901, Dominican University is a comprehensive, coeducational Catholic institution offering bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Dominican offers 50 undergraduate academic programs in the Rosary College of Arts and Sciences and 15 graduate programs through the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, the Graduate School of Business and Information Systems, the School of Education, the Graduate School of Social Work, and the Institute for Adult Learning. In the 2004 issue of America’s Best Colleges, U.S. News & World Report again ranked Dominican University in the top tier of Midwest master’s level universities and as a “best value” for the sixth consecutive year.

“As a student I wanted an intimate community. As an aspiring journalist I wanted a big city. Dominican gave me both—and so much more.”
