Dominican offers all the courses required for medical school admission.
The University has an excellent record of its students being accepted to outstanding medical schools including:
The health career advisor works with pre-med students to devise an appropriate program of study that meets medical school requirements. This includes selecting a major, which is usually but not necessarily in the sciences. Another important component is liberal arts coursework, which develops students’ knowledge and understanding of themselves, other people and society.
Dominican’s Rush Oak Park Hospital internship is popular with pre-med students and strengthens their medical school applications.
