Associate Professor - Graphic Design; Discipline Director Graphic Design


Jean is the Director of the Graphic Design discipline at Dominican University. She received a BA from DePaul University, an MA in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University and an MFA in Book and Paper Arts from Columbia College Chicago. Jean teaches several graphic design classes, History of Graphic Design, and Art as Social Action.

Jean is an emeritus member of the University and College Designers Association, having served on its Board of Directors as well as co-chairing two national conferences for design educators. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the UCDA Foundation, and the Board of Advisors of the Cedarwoods Foundation, based in Minneapolis, MN.
