From Motto to Mission

Building on the remarkable success of the 2010 Caritas Veritas Symposium, the 2011 symposium called us “From Motto to Mission.” Faculty, staff, students, trustees and alumnae/i explored how truth and love lead to action for “the creation of a more just and humane world.” Over 150 members of the university community offered formal papers, panel presentations, round-table discussions, or creative dance, sharing their work on behalf of justice.  An enthusiastic crowd of 1200 came out to engage their witness and ideas.  It was a truly extraordinary day celebrating the Dominican University mission.
