The annual Baccalaureate Mass is a celebration that honors all graduates, their families and friends, in thanksgiving for lives dedicated to learning and wisdom and for gifts given and received during the years at Dominican University. The Mass is a special way of giving thanks and asking for God’s blessing on the personal achievements of the graduates and is open to persons of all faiths. No tickets are necessary, and guests of all faiths are invited to attend. Fr. Andy McAlpin, O.P. will preside at the Mass and senior Kathryn Somerfield will preach. (Please do not wear your regalia to the mass.)
The President’s Toast to the Class of 2012 will be held on the Library Patio. Each Undergraduate and Graduate student is invited to join President Donna Carroll in celebrating your graduation and years shared together at Dominican University. RSVP by April 30 to (708) 524-6817 or dompres@dom.edu. This event is for graduating students only.
For students who have registered. Please line up in the Lewis Classrooms by 7:30pm so the ceremony can begin on time. There will be lists of all seniors participating in the center Lewis stairwell with the classroom you are assigned. Your rose goes with you to the classroom. Immediately following the ceremony there will be a reception in Mazzuchelli Hall. Tickets are required. ickets will not be available for purchase the day of the event.

Continental Breakfast Dining Hall/Social Hall You and your family members are invited for coffee, fresh fruit and breakfast rolls before the ceremony. This is an informal event where you can grab and go as you prepare for the festivities of the day. Photographer Available in Lewis Alcove. |

Line up at the Cloister Wall Please remember to leave all valuables (purses, coats, etc.) with family members or locked in the trunk of vehicles. Please leave your purses or any other items with family members, so you do not carry them as you process. There is no secure storage area for coats, bags or other personal items. |
