Bio

Carsi Hughes has been a licensed clinical psychologist since 1997 and runs an independent practice in the Chicago area. At Dominican, she teaches courses for both the psychology department and the post-baccalaureate pre-medical studies program. She has been an invited guest speaker for psychology interns and externs at Stroger Hospital in Chicago and also for psychology residents and post-docs at Northwestern University. Hughes has also served as placement chair for the Illinois Psychological Association since 1996. Her publications include “The Elderly in an Outpatient Clinic: variables contributing to treatment course” (The Gutmann Monograph: The Dynamic Personality in Later Life).
