Blues and the Spirit Mini Symposium

Dominican University’s Blues and the Spirit Symposium is hosting a unique evening program on January 16, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. The evening will begin with the Chicago premiere of the new documentary film, America’s Blues, followed by a Q and A with the producer/director, Patrick "JT" Branson. The program will continue with a panel discussion on the state of the Blues today and an opportunity to meet the panel participants at a reception. The capstone of the evening is an optional bus excursion to the landmark Chicago’s Blues venue, Rosa’s Lounge, for a special performance.

The symposium program is free and open to all interested members of the public. The optional bus excursion is available at $20 to all those over 21. Please register online for both the symposium program and the optional blues excursion.
