Past Events
Thank you for your interest in past events sponsored by the Albertus Magnus Society. We
have sought out speakers who have particular expertise in a field that involves the intersection of
religous belief or experience and scientific knowledge. They have shared their insights, and
in conversation with the gathered participants, looked from many angles at issues of contemporary
importance.
The Society's inaugural event, commemorating the feast day of Albertus Magnus, took place on November 15, 2006. Professor John Haught of Georgetown University spoke "From the Frontiers of Religion and Science." Our regular program of monthly presentations began in September of the following academic year.
