Dominican University and MB Financial Bank are proud to offer this opportunity to provide scholarship support and career preparation for deserving undergraduates with demonstrated financial need. The MB Fellows Program is the result of Dominican’s commitment to educating a diverse and academically talented undergraduate student body, and MB’s dedication to cultivating a diverse workforce that reflects the communities it serves.
The MB Fellows Program is to be a multiyear commitment by Dominican, MB, and participating students to allow for students’ sustained development and growth as MB Fellows. Students apply as freshmen to begin as MB Fellows at the start of their sophomore year. The benefits of participating in the MB Fellows Program include additional financial assistance, as well as opportunities for paid summer internships and part-time work during the school year.
In addition, MB Fellows will be matched with executives from MB Financial Bank, who will provide ongoing mentoring and an introduction to MB’s corporate culture. Upon graduation from Dominican, MB Fellows will be invited to interview for full-time employment with MB, and entry into MB’s own Leadership Development Program. More specific information on eligibility requirements and the structure and expectations of the MB Fellows Program is provided in the application packet.
If you are a current freshman interested in the opportunity to be an MB Fellow for the 2013-2014 academic year, applications will be available Spring 2013. As space in the program is limited, the application process is expected to be competitive. Students selected as MB Fellows will be notified by the end of the spring 2013 semester.
