Matching Gifts

In addition to our generous alumnae/i and friends, many associations, corporations and foundations provide support to the university throughout the year. Dominican University would like to recognize the many employers who match charitable contributions from their employees. Many gifts are doubled or tripled in value, and the university is grateful for this increased support and commitment to higher education.

Endowed Scholarships

Gifts to an endowed fund have a continuing impact on the life of the university. They are invested to provide permanent annual support for scholarships, faculty and curriculum development and general operations. Scholarship endowment provides financial assistance to deserving, academically gifted students. Faculty endowment supports named faculty chairs, distinguished professorships and visiting lecturers. University endowment supports a full range of programs from academic initiatives to student services to the care and maintenance of the university and its grounds. Many endowments are named to provide a lasting remembrance for alumnae/i and special friends. The list below is not a full list of named funds, but those for which a gift was received between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014.
