Rachel Reinwald MLIS ’10 Honored by District 41

Rachel Reinwald MLIS ’10 has been honored by District 41 with the Citizen of the Year award. As the School Services Liaison for the Lake Villa District Library, Rachel works closely with classroom teachers to ensure that the library’s materials supplement the district’s curriculum.

Rachel regularly visits classrooms giving book talks and working with students on library related projects. She will receive the Citizen of the Year award at the April 10 Board of Education meeting. 

"We are thrilled that Rachel received this honor from District 41" said Lake Villa District Library Director Andy Lentine. "She’s so dedicated and for her to be recognized by those who work closely with her is truly wonderful."

Rachel received her Master of Library and Information Science degree and a Library Media Specialist certificate from Dominican University in 2010.
