May 9, 2017

Quinlan Milne Rojek ’17, who graduated last weekend with a degree in Apparel Design, won the 2017 Neiman Marcus Distinguished Designer Award for "Florid," his menswear collection. The award was presented at the 16th Annual Driehaus Awards for Fashion Excellence April 28 at Vintage Studios, Chicago.

Wendy Krimins, General Manager at Neiman Marcus on Michigan Avenue, judged Quinlan's collection based on commercial and retail appeal. Quinlan's designs will be on display at Neiman Marcus on Michigan Avenue in mid- to late June, and he will have a meeting with a Neiman Marcus buyer or retail executive.

Quinlan also won the Senior Collection Award at "Exhibition," the annual student fashion show at Dominican University on April 1-2, and received an Honorable Mention from the Driehaus Awards judges.
