Peggy Garrity ’69 has published a book that details her career as a high-profile Los Angeles trial lawyer. Titled In the Game: The Highs and Lows of a Trailblazing Trial Lawyer, the book is the groundbreaking story of a thrill-seeking solo trial lawyer who beat the odds at a time when working mothers, especially those in male-dominated professions like the law, faced the gauntlet of discrimination.

Peggy retired from the full-time practice of law in December 2004, but remains committed to the law through her writing, consulting, legal commentary, and handling a few select civil rights cases. Peggy also teaches yoga and meditation privately.
