Stephanie Spoelstra Kristovic MAEA ’13 Named Principal at Lumen Christi

Stephanie Spoelstra Kristovic MAEA ’13 has been hired as the new principal at Lumen Christi Catholic High School in Jackson, Michigan. Spoelstra Kristovic, who graduated as a valedictorian from Lumen Christi in 2004, starts July 1.

Spoelstra Kristovic returns to Jackson after eight years as a teacher and administrator at Perspectives High School of Technology in south Chicago, where she was placed through the "Teach for America" organization in 2008. She taught geometry at the school before becoming a principal two years ago.

Spoelstra Kristovic has bachelor's degrees in mathematics and statistics and English literature from Miami University, Honors College. She earned a master's degree in education administration from Dominican University in 2013.
