Jaimelynne Cruz MAT '11 has been selected as a Hawaii State Teacher Fellow with Hope Street Group, a national nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding economic opportunity and prosperity in America. 

Chicago Tribune's Career Builder section, GSLIS Assistant Dean Diane Foote claims that access to a wealth of information on the Internet has placed even more importance on librarians, many of whom are now responsible for training library patrons about the many resources available to them. In addition, the library field has expanded to include jobs at law, medical or corporate libraries as well as government agencies and military bases.
