Rebecca Crown Library
Alumnae/i are invited to use the
Rebecca Crown Library . You may check out books
by presenting your Alumnae/i Association card. Remote access to the university’s electronic
resources is not allowed due to licensing issues. The library is open daily from 8 a.m. to
midnight.

Student Center Fitness Facility
Present your Alumnae/i Association card to use the university’s fitness center, gymnasium,
track and racquetball court. Locker room access is limited to the general locker rooms. Lockers are
available on a daily basis; please bring your own lock. Appropriate attire, including athletic
training shoes, must be worn at all times. Visit

for a schedule of facility hours. Since a home game, practice or other activity may prevent the use
of a facility, it is always best to call (708) 524-6552 before arriving.

Audit Classes
Depending on space availability and at the discretion of the dean of the academic
area of interest, undergraduate alumnae/i may audit most undergraduate courses free of charge
(except for class fees and books). Auditors may only register on the first day of class or during
the add/drop period. No auditor may hold a place in the class if it is needed for a credit student.
Auditing is not permitted in studio courses in art, music or theatre; physical education courses;
independent/directed study; service learning; or other courses designated by the university.
Alumnae/i holding a Dominican University master’s degree can contact the degree-granting
school regarding course audit policy. Fees and restrictions may apply. For more information, please

Weddings
A limited number of alumnae/i weddings are permitted each year in Rosary Chapel and the Priory Chapel. Some restrictions apply.

Consider your alma mater for your wedding photos when making your wedding plans. The cloister walk, the quad and other beautiful and familiar campus locations make exquisite backdrops for your photos.

Wellness Center
With a signed release, recent graduates may secure photocopies of their immunization records
from Health Services by presenting their Alumnae/i Association membership cards. As supply permits,
alumnae/i may purchase flu shots at a reduced cost during the fall semester. In addition,
Counseling Services provides up to six counseling sessions on a sliding fee scale for alumnae/i;
other restrictions may apply. Referral services are available to alumnae/i free of charge. For more
