When you apply to Dominican as a transfer student, we make sure you are rewarded with academic credit and merit scholarships for the hard work you have already completed. Dominican University is test optional and no longer requires ACT and/or SAT scores for admission.

We are looking for students who are prepared academically to take on rigorous liberal arts studies—students who welcome challenges that engage them intellectually, ethically and socially.

Our rapid-response admission process means that when you complete your Dominican application materials, you will receive an admission decision within two weeks. We make admission decisions on a rolling basis beginning October 15. Apply by our priority application date of November 15 to receive priority consideration for merit scholarships.
