When you apply to Dominican as an adult student, we make sure you are rewarded with academic credit for the hard work you have already completed. Our rapid-response admission process means that when you complete your Dominican application materials, you will receive an admission decision within two weeks.

Transfer Requirements

Minimum entrance requirements for students in good standing from regionally accredited two-year or four-year colleges include:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Cumulative grade-point average of 2.5 on 4.0 scale
  • Students transferring with fewer than 12 semester hours must also meet freshman requirements
  • Students with fewer than 24 semester hours of college credit must also submit high school transcripts

  • If you have fewer than 12 semester hours of credit, request and submit ACT or SAT scores.
  • If you have fewer than 24 semester hours of credit, request and submit your high school transcript or GED scores
