Become Part of the Community

Once your tuition deposit is paid, register online for Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR). SOAR involves course registration, orientation activities, and a chance to socialize with your new classmates.

Submit Your Health Records

Health insurance is required of all full-time undergraduate students. The two options to satisfy this requirement are to enroll in the student health insurance plan or waive the student health plan by documenting equivalent coverage. Your policy must be as good as or better than the Dominican’s student plan.
If you fail to exercise these options by the first day of classes, you will be automatically enrolled in the Dominican University Student Health Plan and the cost will be added to your student account.

All students taking six or more credit hours at Dominican are required to submit a Certificate of Immunity to the Wellness Center prior to their first day of class. This is mandated by Illinois state law. Send your immunization records to Dominican University,

Submit All Final Transcripts

Before attending SOAR, arrange to have your final high school transcript, AP and/or IB test scores, and any college transcripts sent to Dominican University,

Your high school transcript is required in order to complete your enrollment, comply with state and federal regulations for financial aid eligibility, and for academic advising and course registration.
