Master of Arts in Teaching

Our Master of Arts in Teaching programs are designed to help people from many different backgrounds open the door to a new career in education. If you have a baccalaureate degree, we'll give you everything you need to become a certified teacher at either the elementary or secondary level in all public, private, and Catholic schools. The MAT program will allow you to develop the skill base needed for today's culturally diverse classrooms. You'll also explore the latest research in education, gain reliable teaching technique and learn the most effective use of state-of-the-art instructional technology.

For those who wish to gain their elementary, secondary, or K-12 certification without completing the master's degree we offer the non-degree Teaching Certification for College Graduates (TCCG) program. After certification a person may later choose to go on to complete the master's degree.
