Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL)
The Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) degree offered through the School of Leadership and Continuing Studies is an accelerated program designed for leaders who wish to synthesize leading edge concepts with practical experience. The program incorporates a contemporary and holistic course of study, which is firmly grounded in people-centered skills, and committed to preparing leaders to engage in the ever changing global environment. The program is designed to appeal to a wide audience who desires to be broadly educated for leadership positions in various industries.
Degree Requirement
The MSOL degree consists of 12 courses (36 semester credit hours). Each 3 credit hour course is completed in an 8 week session (6 sessions are offered per year). Transfer credit of up to 6 semester hours may be granted, prior to matriculation, given that the course work earned is a 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
- Each student must complete a minimum of 30 semester hours of graduate credit with a minimum 24 semester credit hours completed in the program at Dominican University.
- A minimum of 24 semester credit hours must be taken in the program at Dominican University.
- Each student must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Each student must file an Application for Graduation with the Office of the Registrar the semester before the student anticipates graduating.
