Transfer Student Orientation and Registration

Welcome to Dominican University! We’ve designed an orientation SOAR program to specifically assist you in your transition to the University community. Please be advised that your attendance is required. In addition to learning about the academic expectations and university resources, you will meet with an academic faculty advisor and register for your classes.

The following Transfer SOAR date is available:

• Saturday, July 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.(Full!)
  
• Tuesday, August 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In order to guarantee same day registration, you must register by August 11 for the August 18 SOAR program.  Shortly after you reserve your place, you will receive confirmation via email.

Registration for the July 18 SOAR program has closed.

Check-in is in the Shaffer Silveri Atrium in Parmer Hall at 8:30 a.m. You'll receive a detailed schedule when you arrive. Here are some of the day's highlights:

Before you Arrive

If you need to take placement exams (math, English, foreign language), please contact the advising office at (708) 524-6814. You must complete your placement test by Thursday, January 7, 2010.

If you have not submitted your final transcripts, please bring an authorized copy with you in an officially sealed envelope to the Admissions office.

Your tuition deposit must be paid prior to attending SOAR.
