Convenience and Flexibility for Students

Students choose Dominican University for its academic challenges and outstanding reputation, but they also appreciate its flexibility and accessibility. The majority of Dominican’s post-baccalaureate students are working adults who manage job and family responsibilities while pursuing their graduate education. With courses in convenient time blocks and multiple locations, part-time students can easily pursue a course of study that meets their time constraints.

Students may complete the requirements for the master’s degree in knowledge management in one calendar year of two semesters and two summer sessions. The maximum load is 15 credit hours each semester and six credit hours in either of the seven-week summer sessions. Students may begin the program in any term. Available electives vary by term, so a student may need to plan carefully with his or her advisor to pursue a special course of study.
